KEVIN’S SCHEDULE & RATES:
Schedule:
tuesday-friday 12pm-7pm
rates:
Half Day Rate: $700
Required Deposit: $100
Half day appointments are scheduled for 12pm-3pm or 4pm-7pm.
A half day consists of 3 hours of work including: design layout/stencil placement, tattooing, aftercare instructions. Half day sessions are recommended for smaller projects, for clients who cannot sit for extended periods of tattooing, or for clients that have a general time constraint.
*For some large scale projects, a half day may not be an adequate amount of time to start the project.
Full Day Rate: $1250
Required Deposit: $150
A full day is a 12pm-7pm appointment that consists of 6-7 hours of work including: design layout/stencil placement, tattooing, aftercare instructions (with occasional breaks to stretch, eat, utilize the restroom, etc).
*Full day sessions are recommended for larger projects that may require more than one session, especially for the initial session when starting a large scale project such as back pieces, leg or arm sleeves, or large scale coverup projects.
Smaller tattoos: Price Varies
Required Deposit: $100
Smaller tattoos are tattoos that will take less than a half day session to complete. These tattoos will be priced at a flat rate based off of tattoo design, detail, style, size, and location on the body.
*Kevin has a $200 minimum.
TRAVEL RATES:
Half Day: $750 ($150 deposit required)
Full Day: $1300 ($200 deposit required)
Travel rates will be applied to guest spots and conventions. This additional cost to the hourly rate helps cover travel costs, lodging, transportation, and convention/studio fees.
2025 Conventions & Guest Spots:
February 7th + 8th, 2025: Guest Spot at Tattoo Shop Maui, Maui, HI [NOW BOOKING]
July 11-13, 2025: Villain Arts Denver Tattoo Arts Festival, Denver, CO
September 5-7, 2025: Literary Ink, Chattanooga, TN
Large Scale Tattoo Projects:
Large scale projects include but are not limited to: full or half sleeves (arm or leg), full backs, full torsos, chests, etc. For most large scale projects, a full day session is required to start — this is because a lot of the first session includes laying out the foundation for the entire tattoo. Kevin asks that his clients give him artistic freedom with the tattoo process.
HOW LONG WILL MY TATTOO TAKE?
To give you a better idea on how long it takes to complete certain tattoo projects, listed below are total time estimations.
Total time may vary depending on the tattoo size, design, detail, as well as the clients skin & ability to sit well for the tattoo. Please note these time estimations are specific to Kevin. Other artists and styles will be different.
Full arm Sleeve: ~30 hours
Upper arm Half Sleeve: ~15-20 hours
Lower arm half sleeve: up to 15 hours
Full leg Sleeve: ~40-60 hours
Full back: ~60+ hours
TOUCH UPS:
Touch ups can be scheduled through email anytime within a year of getting tattooed. If you are a client needing a touch up, please email KFBiomech@gmail.com and include a photo of your healed tattoo along with your availability.
NUMBING POLICY:
You will NOT use any pre-numbing creams on the area to be tattooed without prior consulting with your artist. Kevin will provide Bactine numbing spray (if/when needed) during the tattoo session. Please do not buy any numbing products off Amazon.
Deposits:
A minimum of a $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to book an appointment and will be credited towards the total cost of your tattoo.
If you are not ready to pay your deposit, your appointment date & time will not be held.
This deposit secures your appointment date, time and tattoo design. For large scale multiple session projects, your deposit will be credited towards the total cost of your last appointment.
A deposit will be void/lost if:
You do not show up to your scheduled appointment.
You are more than 30 minutes late without warning.
You cancel/reschedule with less than 5 days notice.
After you reschedule 2 times.
You change your desired tattoo concept after booking.
You fail to reschedule within 6 months of original appointment.
If you decide to cancel your appointment altogether, your deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE.
PAYMENT METHOD At Appointment:
At your tattoo appointment cash is preferred for the remaining balance but payment via card can be taken if necessary. A card processing fee + tax will be applied to all card transactions.
Venmo, PayPal, CashApp, ApplePay, Zelle, checks, etc. NOT ACCEPTED.
RESCHEDULE/Cancellation/late POLICY:
As a business, part of our success depends on mutual respect of time. Remembering and respecting the appointment date + time is your responsibility.
Please give at least 5 days notice if you need to reschedule for any reason — with adequate notice, you will be able to carry your deposit with you to your rescheduled date in the event that you need to move your appointment.
If you are going to be late or cannot make your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, please contact Kevin via email as soon as possible. We get it, things happen - just let us know.
If you are 15 mins late with no notice we will contact you, if you are 30 mins late with no notice you will sacrifice both your appointment and deposit.
Consultation/Design Process:
Kevin requires consultations for all tattoo appointments. During consultations, Kevin and his client discuss the design in detail and get clarity on the project they will be working on. From there, if Kevin has any questions about the design after meeting with a client for their consultation, he will reach out with questions for more clarification.
The design process is based a lot on the trust Kevin’s clients have in his style and his ability to listen to their input to create a unique design for them to the best of his ability. Any minor changes to designs can be made the day of the appointment.
